Hey there! Thanks for joining me for day two of the Papertrey Ink April countdown. I'm back today to bring you more of my new set... Sketched Shapes. From the looks of it, it sounds as if some of you are as excited about these set as I am!
Now onto today's creations...
Today's focus is on the triangles included in Sketched Shapes. I do love me some triangles! So much so that I even wear them, check me out via Instagram here. :) Anyways, my inspiration for this first project came from a Studio Calico card of mine here (first one on the page).
I kept things ultra simple this time around by creating a one-layer card. Makes me happy! As shown here, included in the Sketched Shapes stamp set are large and small sized sketched triangles, prefect for making fun focal points and cool backgrounds.
Up next, I've got another one-layer wonder. This time utilizing the tiny triangle border. I just love how this stamp incorporates both solid and sketched images, gives this simple images a little something special.Just A Note: This border stamp consists of a single row of 7 triangles. I stamped it in a color combo of Hawaiian shores, ocean tides and limeade ice. Then finished it off with a sentiment. Easy peasy!
Well, that concludes today's look at Sketched Shapes. Just remember... this stamp sets will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning April 15th. In the mean time, I'd love to know what you think, so please feel free to share!
Now, be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Dawn McVey & Cristina Kowalczyk for peeks. Also, Heather Nichols, Melissa Bickford & Lizzie Jones have peeks to share with you of their newest sets for the month.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
