Sketched Shapes Day Five

Yay!  It's day five of the Papertrey Ink April countdown.  I've thoroughly enjoyed all the time I've had to share with you my new set... Sketched Shapes.  And today, before the countdown comes to an end, I've got just enough time to squeeze in a couple more samples with you.  But first, incase you missed it, please be sure to scroll down a bit and check out my first blog post of the day.

I can't say I've saved the best for last, because I've love every one of my projects I've share with you since I began this coundown!

So, onto today's cards...
The sketched shape used on this first card is one I have not shared with you yet... the hexagon.  Which I stamped in a color combo of Hawaiian shores, ocean tides and limeade ice.
To add a bit of layered dimension to this one layered card, I stamped a few black arrow rows at the top and the bottom edges.  Then finished the card off with a sentiment.
So far, the triangles have intrigued me the most.  With that being set... I bring you yet another use for them.  :)  It all began by simply stamping them all in a row.  Then finished it off with a sentiment topper.
I just love, love, love this color combo!  It just so citrusy.  this card in its simplicity and color makes me perfectly happy.  Here's How:  The use of color with these images allows for so many options.  Here I've demonstrated a sort of faded look... Starting with a lime (the lightest color) then continuing on to the use of yellow, orange, grapefruit/berry.  Then back down with the orange, yellow and lime (in that order).  Gosh, I hope that made sense to you.  :)

Here's A Note:  The fact that excites me the most about this Sketched Shapes stamp set is how easy it is to create a one layered card.  In no way, shape or form is it ever boring.  It's the sketched detailing that gives any project you stamp that added "WOW" factor.  In fact, you may have noticed that most of the cards I've share with you do not include any embellishment or if they do, it's at a minimum.

Well, that's all I've got for you today. Just remember... this stamp sets will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning April 15th. In the mean time, I'd love to know what you think so far, so please feel free to share!

Now, be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Heather NicholsDawn McVey, Melissa Bickford & Lizzie Jones have peeks to share with you of their newest sets for the month.
