Yay! It's day four of the Papertrey Ink April countdown. I've been so excited to share some more of my new set Sketched Shapes with you that I just had to squeeze in a second blog post today to do so. So, please be sure to scroll down a bit and check out my first blog post of the day.
My focus is on rainbows, and how perfectly this set showcases such a color combo. Check it out...
First up, the trusty triangles... I seriously can't put these guys down! To create a super simple one layer card, all I needed to do was stamp the triangles in a slightly overlapping pattern and let the sketched design take over to give this project its WOW factor. Up close it really is a cool effect.
But leave it to the hubby to step in, fool around and distract me from remembering to take a close up shot of that detail. Oops. :) Ha ha! Should I tell him that he has now made his first official appearance on the blog?!
Circles and rainbows make for a very happy card. Here's another one layer wonder for you all today. Hey, I don't think I've mentioned the fact that there are fun circles in this Sketched Shapes set of mine. Three of them in fact... small, medium and large.
They look great randomly stamped in a rainbow of colors!Well, that's all I've got for you today. Just remember... this stamp sets will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning April 15th. In the mean time, I'd love to know what you think so far, so please feel free to share!
Now, be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Heather Nichols, Dawn McVey, Melissa Bickford & Lizzie Jones have peeks to share with you of their newest sets for the month.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I like the Happy Birthday card with the different sized circles. I imagine them as bubbles blown from a big "bubble wand."
