Tiny Treats: Christmas

Hello, all! And welcome to the Papertrey Ink Design Team group post. Since Christmas is fast approaching, this time around Nichole has asked us to come up both time and money saving gift giving ideas. Today, I'd love to share a simple gift that will only cost you $1.95! Here is the receipt to prove it... That price will get you a few handmade 3D vintage ornaments and this small decorated coffee bag, using Tiny Treats: Christmas, to package it all together...
Nichole has done it again! Tiny Treats: Christmas is full of the cutest images, perfect for the occasion.
Also included in this set is an amazing plaid Mat Stack #1 image, which I embossed in gold onto a Scarlet Jewel Mat Stack #1 die cut. Stamped and embossed the tiny Christmas tree into a white punched circle and then adhered to the Mat Stack die cut. Layered the Mat Stack die cut over a strip of Spring Moss cardstock, impressed with the Holly Jolly Impression Plate, and Blueberry Sky satin ribbon. Then attached it all to a small kraft coffee bag.
For today's project I've combined Tiny Treats: Christmas with Vintage Ornaments and the soon to be release matching dies, to create this gorgeous paper ornaments. I love the way they turned out and I am so looking forward to handing these out this Christmas season and even adding a few to my own tree!

Here's how...
1. Start by die cutting three of the same ornament from the colored cardstock of your choice. If you know the color of your friends tree, why not pick colors to match?!
2. Score a line down the center of each ornament.
3. Stamp and emboss with ornament design of choice.
4. Apply adhesive to the back side of each piece and fold along scored line.
5. Attach the three pieces together.
6. Top with ribbon or twine, to hang ornament from.

So there you have it! I hope you enjoy the project as much as I do.

Now, be sure to stop by and see what the rest of the Design Team has come up with...

Thanks for visiting and have a great one!
