Isn't this butterfly image just stunning?! It reminds me of stained glass. I used this image in two different ways. First, stamped it in True Black ink onto kraft cardstock to create a strip of hand stamped pattern paper. Second, to create a focal image...
In keeping with the stained glass idea, I heat embossed the butterfly in black onto vellum cardstock and then colored it using Copic markers. The sheer and shimmery effect is gorgeous in person, but is really hard to capture in a photo. Layered the butterfly over a Mat Stack #1 die cut and three Simply Chartreuse buttons.
