Quick Favors & Wraps

Welcome to the final day of the Papertrey Ink September Countdown and the second design team group post day. This time around we focus on creating party favors and quick holiday wraps using the new Do Me a Favor Tags stamp set, Essential Pillow Box die and Tissue Paper Favors #1 die.

Let me share...
This holiday wrap features the Essential Pillow Box die, cut from rustic white cardstock.  I decided to switch things up this time around...  instead of my typical black or gray sentiment and colored snowflakes, I swapped them around.
So, I stamped the sentiment first (from the Think Big Favorites #20 stamp set) in a minty color (my new Viridian Archival Ink Love it!). The snowflakes (from Snowflake Medley stamp set) were then stamped in combo of gray and black.  Loving this look!  Finished the box off with a wrapping of wide silk white ribbon.
This quick favor reminds me of a bouquet of fresh flowers.  Probably due to my color selection.
To wrap it, I began with a piece of die cut raspberry colored tissue paper, gathered it and tied.  Then wrapped and tied with two green pieces.
Wrapping in the fashion I did above (wrap on the left) gives you a different look, verses wrapping all the layers at once (such as in the wrap on the right).  But both are cute!  It's really neat, the difference in effect you get just by making a small change in the wrapping technique.
The tag was attached by punching a small hole in the top corner.
Strung twine through the button and then through the hole in the tag.  Wrapped and tied around the favor.
Stamped the tag in wet cement and the sentiment circle in the new Hero Arts raspberry jam ink.  Then a quick wrapping of some limeade ice twill ribbon to finish it off.

Well, there you have it. I hope you've enjoyed! Just remember that the Do Me a Favor Tags stamp set, Essential Pillow Box die and Tissue Paper Favors #1 die will all be available for purchase beginning September 15, at Papertrey Ink. Now, be sure to see what the rest of the Papertrey Ink design team has in store for you today...
Thanks so much for stopping by!

  14. Aw, this was a very nice post. Finding the time and actual effort to generate a superb article… but what
