Buttons, buttons and more buttons!

Hi there, so glad you can join me today!

So today's card is another version of this button card I made last week. I loved the way it turned out and had to give it another try. So this is what I came up with... To change things up a bit I turned the card onto its side and stitched, with embroidery floss, across the card instead of just piercing holes. I loved how the fabulous Nichole Heady cut teeny tiny leaves from cardstock to add to her button flowers in this card. I thought it would look great on my card too.

So here is a closer look at the details... Just don't look to closely at the sentiment. So after all that work of planning the placement of the buttons, drawing the lines, stitching and sewing on the buttons and carefully adhering the itty bitty leaves, it was time to stamp the sentiment. And of course, I messed it up! Ooops! lol. I guess it's not that bad and I'm sure who ever receives this card won't even notice.

So are you guys having as much fun with buttons as I am? I don't think I've even posted a card with out one yet (ok maybe a couple)! lol. I could easily use at lease one on every card.

Well thanks for stopping in. Hope you liked my card, mistake and all. Hope you will visit again soon!

  5. This is great... simple and beautiful! Love it!! I always do the same thing... I should really learn to stamp it first. I end up having to come up with some other way to cover up my badly stamped sentiment.
