Hello my friends! The latest challenge over at
Embellish is inspired by the autumn season, perfectly fitting since most of us are still finishing our Thanksgiving leftovers.
So here is my fall submission...
I don't really own any fall type stamps but I did happen to pick up some pattern paper and acrylic frames, from the Making Memories Autumn Splendor Collection, on sale from the craft store. The frame was backed with cream
cardstock, stamped with a sentiment, wrapped and tied with ribbon then attached to the card base over a leafy pattern paper strip. I kept the card simple, to not distract to much from the shimmery frame (the shimmer is hard to see in the photo but it's there).
So do any of you already have your Christmas trees up? I am thinking of putting mine up tonight.

While flipping through the pages of fall magazine issues I found the assortment of acorns so inspiring that I had to create this fun mix and match acorn stamp set. Included in this set is some fall foliage and fun sentiments suited for the season. I can't forget to mention... there are coordinating dies too!
I just love fall and I find all the new colors and activities of this season so inspiring. Which leads me to the card inspired by fall and our apple picking trip...
Attached a strip of Distressed Dots pattern paper to the kraft card base.
Die cut a Spiral Notebook Page from rustic cream cardstock and stamped a tree trunk and leaves from the newly released Merry Little Christmas set. Then stamped the apples and a sentiment from the Falling Leaves set. Wrapped the top with chocolate baker's twine, attached it to the card base with dimensional adhesive and embellished with buttons. Here's A Tip: I sometimes double up on the adhesive (for twice the height or dimension) to allow for enough room to tuck buttons under the focal image.
