Introducing Cuppa Love

Welcome to the final day of the Papertrey Ink November countdown.

Today's post is all about wishing friends and family well as they recover from an illness or surgery using the new set Cuppa LoveThis set sparked my creativity right away!  Not only is Cuppa Love fun work with, its heartfelt "get well" theme is one I have found many uses for this season.  I know this set will help you brighten up anyone's day.

So, let me get started...
Inspiration for this first came immediately after I came across these cool mugs. Couldn't be more happy with the way this pattern turned out.  The dotted line and extended oval shape are two different stamps, I saved time by attaching them to one acrylic block together.
I attached the die cut mug to the front of a kraft card base at a slight angle and then carefully trimmed off the excess.  Finished the card off with a sentiment tag, which was created using the Cuppa Love stamp set and coordinating die.
Here's a sweet cup shaped card, inspired by the popular hand drawn sharpie mugs I've seen floating around Pinterest (like these for example).  I trimmed off the bottom stem to give this shape a whole different look.
These three piece flowers were stamped along the bottom edge all in black. Strapped a sentiment strip across the stems and wrapped the handle with a Baker's twine double bow.
An added touch... a second sentiment tucked into the stamped pattern.  As you will notice in tomorrows blog post, this is the card that started my black ink themed creative kick.  So stay tuned. :)

Well, that's all I've got for you today. Just remember... everything you've seen peek of today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning November 15th
