In the Meadow

Hey everyone! Thanks for joining me today, for the December Papertrey Ink Senior DT challenge. This time around we are bringing back In the Meadow! It's been fun pulling out and playing with this wonderful silhouette set. For today's challenge, I went with more of a simple rustic feel for my two cards.

Have a look!...
Here's the set... it features a pure poppy and smokey shadow color combo.
I began by tracing the edge of one of the In the Meadows dies onto some pattern paper and then trimming with scissors.
I stamped the deer onto the rustic white card base and then attached the trimmed pattern paper.  Here'a A Tip... It may help to trace the pattern paper edge lightly onto the card base to give you a better idea of where to stamp your images and then erase.  Once the pattern paper was attached, I roughed it up a bit by running my fingernail along the edge.
For the sentiment... I stamped it in a coordinating color onto a rustic white cardstock strip, attached a strip of color cardstock and then adhered to the card base.
Finished each off with a wrapping of twine.

Well, that's it from me today. Now be sure to visit the other Papertrey Ink senior design team girls for more In The Meadow goodness...
Thanks for stopping by today!
