Hello everyone! So glad you could join me today for the Darling Dear blog blitz! The hop begins at the Studio Calico blog, so stop by there for the list of designers who are participating.
I've been enjoying this collection so much that I 've got two projects to share with you today. I can't wait to share...
First up, some fun triangle borders! Using a combination of Darling Dear 6x6 pattern papers and veneer triangles. Details of this card can be found, via PDF, at the Sudio Calico blog.
I love this sentiment, it's something my Mom's side of the family would always say after being reunited. My Mom and her family grew up in Hawaii, I'm sure that's where they picked it up from. Good memories from this one!
The veneer feathers are not part of the Darling Dear collection but this lovely banner sentiment stamp is. I love how it's bold enough to stand on it's own amongst the neon inked feathers. The feathers are from the Sock Hop card kit.
Here How: Simply press the feather tips directly into the ink pads, repeat if necessary.
Inspiration for this card came from two places... First, Geralyn Sy pinned these cool feather tags here. Second, from the neon pin board I've been collecting here.
That's all I've got for today. I hope you enjoy your blog blitz journey. Stop by Studio Calico blog for the full list of participant links.
Thanks for stopping by!
