Leaf Prints Revisited

Hey everyone! Thanks for joining me today, for the August Papertrey Ink Senior DT challenge. This time around we are bringing back Leaf Prints

I find it hard to believe that it's August already, it sure is a strong reminder that summer is coming to an end soon. The time spent playing with this months challenge stamp set has been a pleasant experience.  It's brought back memories of fine fall temperatures and beautiful autumn colors.  Overall, it's been a reminder of the reasons why I love fall.  Although, for today's project, I wasn't quite ready to work with a full fledged fall theme and decided to work with an unexpected color scheme.  Take a look...
Using a color combo of Enchanted Evening, Melon Berry and Soft Stone I created a coordinating card and tag combo.
First, the card...  I began by die cutting a Wine Bottle Tag from Rustic White cardstock and stamping it with a few leaf images.  Then, die cut a Rustic White small banner and stamped it with a sentiment from Simple Sentiments.  Attached the sentiment to the tag using dimensional adhesive.
The card base was also cut from Rusic White cardstock.  I trimmed a couple Enchanted Evening cardstock strips and attached them to the top of the card base.  Then, with dimensional adhesive, I attached the stamped tag.
To coordinate with the card, I stamped the tag with leaves in the same color combo.  The tag was die cut from Rustic White cardstock using the Tag Sale #5 die.
I die cut an additional tag from Enchanted Evening, trimmed and attached the bottom edge to the stamped leaf tag.  Then, finished the tag off with a Gracious Vases sentiment and Soft Stone ribbon.

Well, that's it from me today. Now be sure to visit the other Papertrey Ink Senior Design Team girls for more Leaf Prints goodness...
Thanks for stopping by today!
