Papertrey Ink March Release Projects

The Papertrey Ink March Countdown is about to come to an end and I'm here to share my final projects with you today. But, before I do, let me remind you that everything you've seen peeks of will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink beginning 10 pm EST tonight.

Now, let me get started!...

First up... Framed Out #2 (by Heather Nichols) and Super Stars (by Nichole Heady).Stamped an arrangement of stars in a color combo of Aqua Mist, Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise and Berry Sorbet. Finished the card off with a Ranger Glossy Accented frame and a sentiment.Next up... Little Bitty Bird Additions (by Heather Nichols).Stamped the branches (from Little Bitty Bird), bird house and sentiment in Kraft ink. Then touched each up with Copic markers.Next up... Tremendous Treats: Birthday (by Nichole Heady).I created this card for my adorable son who will be turning 5 very soon. He can't wait to celebrate it with a pirate themed birthday. Here's How: I started this card by die cutting a 5 from cardstock to use as a template, placed the template onto a die cut Spiral Notebook Page and colored with a Copic marker. Here's a tip: I was careful to fill in the template as quickly as possible to prevent the marker from bleeding. Next... World's Greatest (by Melissa Bickford). I started by stamping the sentiment in Smokey Shadow ink and then the ties in a color combo of Enchanted Evening, New Leaf, Aqua Mist & Hawaiian Shores. Then stamped the DAD tie inside the card to finish off the sentiment.Here's... On The Links (by Lizzie Jones).Whipped out my In The Meadows dies to create a few grassy hills and then attached a carefully hand cut golf cart along the Smokey Shadow path. How about some... Back Pocket Basics?! (By Melissa Bickford)I'm loving the color combo on this card! A combo of Spring Rain, Melon Berry, Berry Sorbet, Smokey Shadow and Rustic White. Stamped the pocket in Spring Rain and colored the flowers in with coordinating Copic Markers.Last, but not lease... Heart-2-Heart (by Melissa Bickford).I love a pop of color on a solid white card base, but this time around I wanted to switch things up. I begin with colorful card bases (Spring Rain, Raspberry Fizz and Summer Sunrise) and then added pops of black.

Well, that's all of them!

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Teams fabulous projects as well...

Thanks for stopping by!

Maile

  6. Maile, I adore your simple fresh style and I'm hoping some of it will eventually rub off on me. I'm a total clutter bug! In all aspects of my life, but I do try to dial it back when card making. LOL Get Well Soon Wishes coming your way. We spent many years at the race track from 1982 to 2004. My husband was racing when we got married and our son fell right into that groove as soon as he could ride his bike without training wheels, around age 4. I have spent many an hour sitting in ER, patiently waiting our turn for a broken bone, so I know well that even proper gear and leathers saves some skin, but not all nor does it protect all bones. I was always amazed at the comradery between riders and families even though we were all racing against each other. Never thought I would miss the dusty track, but a distant motor cycle buzzing, always gets my attention and reminds me of those amazing memories that were our family time when both of my kids were home. I'm so glad our daughter wasn't interested, I'm sure I would not have handled that well in ER.LOL (get well hugs)

  10. You never cease to amaze me with your talent!!! I think you are my absolute most favorite card maker... like up top at #1!!!!!! I especially love the "DAD" card with all those cutesy ties!!! I want that stamp set SO bad!!! It's the easiest way to create masculine cards w/out breaking your head!!! Will be stopping by papertrey ink tomorrow, hopefully it'll be there by the afternoon when I get back from student teaching. That will be quite the treat! (:
