Introducing Live Love Life and Bigger Blooms

***Come join me for a Studio Calico class... INKED! Check it out here.***

I'm back this month with the newest addition to my Stamping Simply line up for the June Papertrey Ink release. I couldn't be more thrilled to introduce to you my two new stamp sets... Live Love Life and Bigger Blooms.  Today I'll be sharing a brief look at both sets and in the following days I'll go into a bit more detail about each. In the meantime, keep in mind that both of these sets will be available for purchase beginning June 15th at Papertrey Ink.

Now onto today's creation...
First up, a quick look at Live Love Life.  This card features one of the modern motifs included in this set, which I stamped in a soft color combo of sweet blush, summer sun and black.
The sentiments in this set are fresh and fun and will add a lot to your projects, I can't wait to share more.
Up next, Bigger Blooms.  A follow-up to my previously release Mini Blooms stamp set.  The photo above will give you an idea of just how big these new blooms are compared to the previous ones.  The smaller two are from Mini Blooms.
My last card features the three coordinating blooms from both Mini Blooms and Bigger Blooms.
And a sentiment from the new Bigger Blooms stamp set.  Just as cute as the ones found in Mini Blooms!

That's it from me today, but I've got a lot more to share in the coming days. So, I hope you'll join me for the remainder of the countdown!

Each set will be available for purchase beginning June 15th at Papertrey Ink.  Now, be sure to visit Nichole Heady & Besty Veldman for new peeks. Also, Heather NicholsDawn McVey & Melissa Bickford have peeks to share with you of their newest sets for the month.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Take Note Revisited

Hey everyone! Thanks for joining me today, for the June Papertrey Ink Senior DT challenge. This time around we are bringing back Take Note! It's been fun pulling out this useful set.

This set makes it a breeze to whip up pretty note pads prefect for a friend.  The versatility of this set even allowed me to create a simple card, which you will see at the bottom of today's post. But first, the little note pad I put together...
I combined a "Take Note" and a flourish (both from Take Note) with a hand stamped ikat print (created using Irresistible Ikat), stamped in a pretty combo of melon berry, berry sorbet and summer sunrise.
A little wrap holds this tri-folded note pad in place.
Here's How:  I began with an 8" x 8" piece of cardstock.  Scored from one side at 2 5/8" and 2 3/4".  After flipping over to the other side, I scored at 2 1/2" and 2 5/8".  The second piece measures 8" x 2 5/8", with a trimmed top (Just A Note: cut to your hearts desire or die cut with a shaped/fancy edge).
The angled piece was stamped and then attached to the front flap.  Just A Note: To save time, this piece could also be cut from pattern paper.
The wrap was simply folded around the assembled note pad.  Just A Note: Be careful not to make it too snug, this way you can slide it off and on easily.
Inside, I permanently attached the paper pad and stamped the top page to match.
Here's a sample of the versatility of this Take Note stamp set.  It's perfect for cards too!
Using a single sentiment from the Take Note set, I stamped it repeatedly to help emphasize the main message of this card... "I Love You" from the Bountiful Banners set.

Well, that's it from me today. Now be sure to visit the other Papertrey Ink senior design team girls for more Take Note goodness...
Thanks for stopping by today!
