Hey everyone! Thanks for joining me today, for the September Papertrey Ink Senior DT challenge. This time around we are bringing back Wreath for All Seasons! This set is truly a very versatile one. And today, we the design team are set out to prove just that. We each bring you two cards, one that embraces autumn and a second that focuses on a alternate season of
our choice.
Take a look...
First up, Autumn. Have to say... one of my favorite seasons!
Used the Rock and Roll technique for this gorgeous wreath, stamped it onto a rustic white banner (die cut using the Wine Bottle Tag Die) and embellished with brown rhinestones.
Mounted the wreath panel onto an impressed panel (used the herringbone impression plate) and then attached all to a kraft card base using dimensional adhesive.
My additional season of choice... all three! A card perfect for celebrating either a winter/Christmas, spring or summer-time birthday.
I stamped the dotty image (which is typically used to stamp berries onto the other wreath images included in the set) a number of times in a color combo of canyon clay, summer sunrise, hawaiian shores & berry sorbet. Topped it with a die cut bow (from the Bells & Boughs set) and embellished it with a few fun sequins (these happen to be from the latest Studio Calico kits).
Thanks for stopping by today!
Maile

Gorgeous cards! Love your take on this stamp set a second time around. I really like the winter card and the happy sunshine colors.
ReplyDeleteI've never really been able to use this set well. But I love, love, love what you did with it here! I'll have to try using the rock and roll technique for it sometime...such a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI never, ever knew that the dotty image was used to stamp berries onto the other wreaths!!! But I think I like it best the way you used it..so neat!
I'm a sucker for autumn but you've got me lovin' every season with that final card, Maile! So fun!
