Papertrey Ink August Release Projects

The Papertrey Ink August Countdown is about to come to an end and I'm here to share my final projects with you today. But, before I do, let me remind you that everything you've seen peeks of will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink beginning 10 pm EST tonight.

Now, let me get started!...
First up, Foodie Fun by Dawn McVey.  I chose to work with a color combo of soft stone (for the card base) aqua mist, lavender moon, melon berry, lemon tart & smokey shadow (for the sentiment).

Stamped the sentiment first and then the food.  Embellished the card with a few cardstock strips and true black buttons.
Next, Autumn Hills by Nichole Heady.  I began by stamping the card base with a few Autumn Acorns leaves, in a color combo of summer sunrise and spring moss, using the rock and roll technique.
Then stamped the frame image and sentiment in true black and finished the card off with a few rhinestones.
Next, Framed Out #7 by Heather Nichols.  I began by stamping a rustic white card base with the frame image in terracotta tile.
I then pulled out my Autumn Acorns set and stamped a couple acorns in a color combo of terracotta tile and Hero Arts wet cement shadow ink.  Finished the card off with a sentiment and a few wood veneer stars, sprayed with Mister Huey's pinstripe spray mist.
Next, Sunflower Bouquet and Counting My Blessings by Nichole Heady.  I began by impressing a card base with the Herringbone impression plate and then attached a terracotta tile cardstock strip along the bottom edge.
Then stamped the sunflower image into a rustic white panel and die cut "blessed" using the Counting My Blessings die collection.  Then attached everything to the card base with dimensional adhesive.
Last, but not least, Heart-2-Heart #7 by Melissa Bickford. I began by stamping cardstock strips with the flowers.  Before attaching them, I stamped the sentiment.
Attached the strips with dimensional adhesive and then embellished with an additional die cut flower and leaves.  Almost forgot... I heat embossed a heart to the center of the flower before attaching.

Well, that's all of them!

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Teams fabulous projects as well...

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Love that you always show you don't have to color in stamps. Using black on white as in your Autumn Hills and red in Count My Blessings encourages me to use my stamps more effectively. Lovely!
