HA/PTI Stamp Challenge Day 1

Hello, and welcome!

So glad you could be here for the first day of the HA/PTI Stamp Challenge! I am so very excited and honored to be joining the fabulous (and super sweet) Jennifer McGuire in a round of new challenges! Since Jennifer is a Hero Arts designer and I am part of the Papertrey Ink Design team, we've joined up to bring you 5 days of fun. Each day we will share a creation using both Hero Arts and Papertrey Ink stamps and/or supplies.

Here is what we chose to work with for today...
Hero Arts' A Village & Papertrey Ink's Boards & Beams. Here is what I came up with... Punched three different sized circles from white cardstock. Stamped circles with the A Village background image in Distress Inks, wrapped with white embroidery floss and then attached to the card base using dimensional adhesive.

Finished it off with a few Harvest Gold & Hibiscus Burst buttons and a sentiment from Boards & Beams.

A huge thank you to Jennifer for allowing me to join her in the fun. Be sure to stop by her blog and see what she came up with. I'm sure it's a stunner!

Thanks for stopping by, make sure to visit tomorrow for the second day of HA/PTI goodness! Hope you have a good one!

Just Moved

Hello all! Hope you all are having a wonderful day. It sure has been a gorgeous week here in my town. I've been very busy this week trying to keep up with my to do list of design deadlines, running errands and visiting friends. Anyways, I've got some Hero Arts and Papertrey Ink goodness to share with you today... Thought this color combo of Lemon Tart & Raspberry Fizz (which I am loving) would be fitting for the summery weather we have been having this week. Started off by stamping Row Of Houses, in Lemon Tart, across the white cardstock strip. Wrapped with Raspberry Fizz grosgrain ribbon, stamped a sentiment from Boards & Beams and rounded the corners. Attached the strip to a lemon tart card base, which measures 5" x 3.5". I made sure to trim enough off of the base so that, the stamped house strip could hang over the edge and still fit into a regular sized envelope.
Stamped the card base with Background Basics: Tin Type in Versamark ink and finished it of with a row of Raspberry Fizz buttons.

Well, I'm off to get crafty! Thanks for visiting today!

Love Overflows

Happy Wednesday!

Aren't these houses just too cute! Row of Houses (by Hero Arts) was stamped in versamark onto Aqua Mist cardstock (it may be a little hard to see but they are there), to create a hand stamped pattern paper. Used a bright and cheery combo of Aqua Mist, Lemon Tart & Raspberry Fizz. I've really been getting into yellow these days, have you noticed?! Stamped the houses again (in Lemon Tart) onto a white cardstock strip, over that layered the sentiment from PTI Boards & Beams (in Raspberry Fizz). The buttons were strung with 1/8 in. white silk ribbon, just tied the ribbon into a knot then threaded it through the buttons and attached. Finished the card off with a Raspberry Fizz grosgrain ribbon bow.

My hubby and I are celebrating our 9th anniversary today, time sure does fly by!!!

Thanks for stopping in today, hope you have a good one!
