ETA: I forgot to add my inspiration pieces. They are now in place. :)
Welcome to the final day of the Papertrey Ink July countdown and the second design team group post day. Today's group post is all about the new set Meadow Greens. What a stunning stamp set this truly is! It's perfect for creating cards for many occasions in either a feminine or masculine style. I have one of each style to share with you today. Check it out...
Up first, masculine. Here's my inspiration piece, found here.
I began by stamping the two fern branches (in soft stone, limeade ice and new leaf) randomly along the base of the card front.
Layered a sentiment and finished the card off with a couple of shimmer black cardstock strips stapled into place.
Now a feminine look. Inspiration piece found here.
I've combined Meadow Greens with Watercolor Wonder for a stunning look. Here's How: For a more natural look, I've misted the inked up watercolor stamps with a few light sprays of water before stamping.
I began by embossing the stem, flower and leaf image in clear embossing powder. Then the sentiment in black.
Here's A Tip: After stamping the moistened image over the embossing, I quickly wiped away the ink from the embossing using a baby wipe. Just A Note: If you are looking for a bolder look from your stamped image use white embossing powder.
