Take Note Revisited

Hey everyone! Thanks for joining me today, for the June Papertrey Ink Senior DT challenge. This time around we are bringing back Take Note! It's been fun pulling out this useful set.

This set makes it a breeze to whip up pretty note pads prefect for a friend.  The versatility of this set even allowed me to create a simple card, which you will see at the bottom of today's post. But first, the little note pad I put together...
I combined a "Take Note" and a flourish (both from Take Note) with a hand stamped ikat print (created using Irresistible Ikat), stamped in a pretty combo of melon berry, berry sorbet and summer sunrise.
A little wrap holds this tri-folded note pad in place.
Here's How:  I began with an 8" x 8" piece of cardstock.  Scored from one side at 2 5/8" and 2 3/4".  After flipping over to the other side, I scored at 2 1/2" and 2 5/8".  The second piece measures 8" x 2 5/8", with a trimmed top (Just A Note: cut to your hearts desire or die cut with a shaped/fancy edge).
The angled piece was stamped and then attached to the front flap.  Just A Note: To save time, this piece could also be cut from pattern paper.
The wrap was simply folded around the assembled note pad.  Just A Note: Be careful not to make it too snug, this way you can slide it off and on easily.
Inside, I permanently attached the paper pad and stamped the top page to match.
Here's a sample of the versatility of this Take Note stamp set.  It's perfect for cards too!
Using a single sentiment from the Take Note set, I stamped it repeatedly to help emphasize the main message of this card... "I Love You" from the Bountiful Banners set.

Well, that's it from me today. Now be sure to visit the other Papertrey Ink senior design team girls for more Take Note goodness...
Thanks for stopping by today!
