Let me get right to it!...
First up, this simple little number... began by stamping the vases along the bottom of a Rustic White card base using Smokey Shadow ink.
Then filled each vase with an assortment of flowers, from the Daydreamer stamp set, in a color combo of Berry Sorbet, Harvest Gold, Orange Zests, Lavender Moon and Simple Chartreuse. Then finished the card off with a sentiment from the original Gracious Vases set and rounded the bottom corner.
Next up... a bud vase. I stamped a single vase, in Smokey Shadow ink, onto a Rustic White card stock panel. Then die cut and stamped a rose a leaves using the soon to be released The Sweet Life stamp set (more on this set over at Nichole's blog today) and attached both atop the vase. Finished the panel off with a Gracious Vases sentiment.
Before attaching the panel to the card base, I embellished it with a Smokey Shadow button and attached a stamped striped strip (which is actually a portion of a frame from another soon to be released set, but more on that to come during the Papertrey Ink countdown). Finished the card off by attaching the embellished panel to a Rustic White card base, with dimensional adhesive.
Well, that's all I've got for you today. Just remember... this set is available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning July 15th, for $15. In the mean time, I'd love to know what you think so far, so please feel free to share!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Just A Note Card
GORGEOUS cards! Love this new set! :)
ReplyDeleteIn true Maile style, these cards are simply beautiful! I like the combination of Daydreamer flowers and Mega Gracious Vases:)
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards, Maile - love the combination of Daydreamer images with the mega vases. Despite your unique CAS style, there is such beautiful detail - ALWAYS!
ReplyDeleteJust when I talked myself out of the gracious vases, you come out with a dosey!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful designs!
ReplyDeleteWanted to let you know how much I admire your card-making, Maile. The diagonal stripe behind the vase on your last card adds so much to the card, I just love it! Small detail, big impact!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to have something besides baskets and jars for all the lovely flower stamps.
ReplyDeleteI just CASEd your note card and posted it on my blog, giving you credit for the design, of course! Please stop by and take a look when you get a chance!
