First up, the Happy Hydrangea stem. I began this card by assembling Rustic White die cut chevrons (from the Chevron Stripe Borders Die Collection) onto a Rustic White cardstock block.
I then die cut and stamped the hydrangea blossom, in a color combo of Spring Moss, Winter Wisteria and Plum Pudding. Attached it over the chevrons, stamped the Happy Hydrangea sentiment and embellish it with a Plum Pudding button.
Next up, a hand stamped hydrangea pattern paper in a color combo of Winter Wisteria, Spring Rain, Sweet Blush and Hibiscus Burst. Such a pretty color combo. The pattern was stamped using both the small and large blossoms and a few of the itty bitty single flower images stamped in between.
Die cut and stamped an additional Winter Wisteria blossom and attached it the card base with dimensional adhesive. Then hand cut a few leaves and single flowers and attached them to the blossom as well. Finished the card off with a sentiment.
Well, that concludes day five of the countdown. I truly hope that you have enjoyed and were inspired by all that I have shared the past few days. Just remember... this set is available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning May 15th, for $24. In the mean time, if you do happen to add this set to your collection... I'd love to see what you come up with, so please feel free to share!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
