Bubble Talk Day Two

Hey there! Thanks for joining me for day two of the Papertrey Ink August countdown. I'm back today to bring you more of my new set... Bubble Talk. This fun new set has lots of possibilities when using it alone or pairing it up with so many other previously released sets. Perfect for framing out one of the sentiments included here or paired up with other sentiments.

From the looks of it, it sounds as if some of you are as excited about this set as I am!  Bubble Talk will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning August 15th, for the price of $15.  Bubble Talk includes 6 speech bubbles, 4 accent images and 4 sentiments.  Coordinating dies will also be available for purchase.  Be sure to stop by Nichole Heady's blog for more samples and a look at the dies.

Now onto today's peeks...
First up, I created a fun row using five of the six speech bubbles included in Bubble Talk.
I then finished this one-layer card off with a sentiment (also from Bubble Talk) and an assortment of black rhinestones.
Here's a fun hand stamped pattern created using two speech bubbles, one solid and one sketched.  Here's an Idea:  I envision layering the sketched bubble directly over the solid one for a cool two toned look.  :)
I trimmed the bubble panel at an angle and then finished the card off with a sentiment (from Bubble Talk) cut into two strips.  With the sentiment cut in two, it kind of gives it an unexpected look.  I like it a lot!
I'll end today with yet another one-layer card.  Like I told you yesterday, this set is great for making such cards!
I used a little generational stamping to create the bubble trio, then stamped the sentiment and finished the card off with a few directional arrows to direct the eye to the message.  Every image on this card is from Bubble Talk.

Well, that concludes today's look at Bubble Talk. Just remember... this stamp set and coordinating dies will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning August 15th. In the mean time, I'd love to know what you think, so please feel free to share!

Introducing Bubble Talk

I'm back this month with the newest addition to my Stamping Simply line up for the August Papertrey Ink release. I couldn't be more thrilled to introduce to you ... Bubble Talk.  Today I'll be sharing a brief look at this new set of mine and in the following days I'll go into a bit more detail about each. In the meantime, keep in mind that Bubble Talk will be available for purchase beginning August 15th at Papertrey Ink.

Now onto today's creation...
Bubble Talk includes a fun assortment of taking bubbles and accent shapes, all done up in a fun sketchy theme.
Here I've featured two bubbles (one sketchy and one not) as well as one of the accent images (the sketchy arrow).  A little masking technique allowed me to create a cool little grouping on this one layer card.  Finished the card off with a few perfectly placed rhinestones.  Mixed it up a little bit by including a single star rhinestone in place of another dot.
Here's yet another one-layer card for you.  I can't tell you enough just how easy it is to create one-layer cards with this set!  The sketched images just look so cool layered over the solid ones.  :)  And the sentiments look great either inside or outside of the bubbles.
I just love how the random hearts add to the dreamy theme of this one-layer card.  And I can't get enough of mixing up the tiny embellishments these days, here I've combined sequins with enamel dots.  Love!

That's it from me today, but I've got a lot more to share in the coming days. So, I hope you'll join me for the remainder of the countdown!

Bubble Talk ($15) and its coordinating dies will be available for purchase beginning August 15th at Papertrey Ink.  Now, be sure to visit Nichole HeadyBesty Veldman and Cristina Kowalczyk for new peeks. Happy Trails Revisited

Hey everyone! Thanks for joining me today, for the August Papertrey Ink Senior DT challenge. This time around we are bringing back Happy Trails! It's been fun pulling out this set.  Happy Trails has always been a favorite of mine ever since it was released.  Working with this set once again was like rekindling a friendship with an old friend.  Definitely an oldie but goodie!  I've whipped up a couple one-layer cards using one color combo and two different images.

Take a look...
First up the butterfly, which I've stamped into a repeating row using a happy color combo.
Over the butterfly row I stamped the twirly trails and a sentiment in grey ink.  Then finished the card off with a few enamel dots.
Up next, one of the two bird image included in this set.  I stamped it in a trio, using the same cheery colors as above, to enhance the sentiment.  Such fitting images for such a heartfelt sentiment.

Well, that's it from me today. Now be sure to visit the
other Papertrey Ink senior design team girls for more Happy Trails goodness...

Thanks for stopping by today!
