Another Year of Stamping Simply

Have you heard the news?! No doubt you have already if you've stopped by Nichole Heady's blog first. Well, I'm happy to report that... I've illustrated another year full of stamp sets for Papertrey Ink! I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have begun this journey last year and I so look forward to continuing it this year as well. I feel that my skills have grown immensely, through this experience, and I can not wait to share what I have in store for this year!

On her blog, Nichole is beginning things off by offering up a Freebies Sheet, full of adorable and free images designed by the Papertrey Ink stamp designers. Here's a card using my freebie image...I began by trimming a strip of pattern paper and attaching it to a Rustic White card base. After printing the freebie sheet I punched the "hello" circle out with a 1 3/4" circle punch and colored it in with a few Copic Markers (Y32, YR65, R22 & RV14).With dimensional adhesive, I attached the circle to a True Black Happy Day die cut and then attached that die cut to the card base. Finished the card off by embellishing with a tiny black bow.

Are you up for another prize?! Be sure to visit Nichole, download your own copy of the Stamp Designer Freebies Sheet, create a project with one of the images and added it the InLink list on her blog.

Also, a big warm welcome to the new additions to the Stamp Designer team... Erin Lincoln, Lizzie Jones and Lexi Daly. Happy to have you aboard!

Before I finish, I would love to thank you for your support through this past year of illustrating. You have given me the confidence to push for another year and you truly do make all of this possible! So, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope to keep you all pleasantly surprised.

Thanks for stopping by!

Maile

It's going to be hard for you to unseat Modern Basics from the top of my favorites list, but if anyone can do it, you can. Congratulations!
