Bountiful Banners

Hey there! Thanks for joining me for the second day of the Papertrey Ink March countdown. I'm back today to share with you more of my new set... Bountiful Banners. From the looks of it, it sounds as if some of you are as excited about this set as I am! Let me give you a little info...  This clean and modern take on banners is a wonderful addition for many of our previously released sets. Bountiful Banners features 3 banners, 6 sentiments, 6 circle medallions and 5 additional detail images.  Complimenting this set perfectly are coordinating dies too. With the help of the dies you can layer the circular medallion images anywhere you like within the banners.  At a cost of only $15, this stamp set will be available for purchase beginning March 15th at Papertrey Ink.

Now onto today's creations...
First up, a traditional use of the banner.
I began by stamping the layout.  Here's A Tip: First the banner, this way I could lay down the mini flower bunches (from the Mini Blooms stamp set) in the desired arraignments, pick them all up at once with an acrylic block, ink up and then stamp.  As shown in the photo above.
Once happy with the arrangement I added color and dimension by die cutting, stamping and attaching (with dimensional adhesive) the banner and mini blooms directly over the stamping I did previously.  Finished the card off with a "Mr." and a "Mrs." as well as a heat embossed gold heart medallion.
Last but not least... an additional use for the medallions.  As mentioned at the top of this post, there are 6 in this stamp set, today I'm working with the heart and yesterday with the anchor.
I stamped a trio of hearts and trio of sentiments.  The hearts were stamped on a scrap piece of grid paper and then accented with coordinating enamel dots (both leftovers from my Neverland card kit).

Well, that concludes today's look at Bountiful Banners. Just remember... this stamp sets will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning March 15th. In the mean time, I'd love to know what you think, so please feel free to share!

Now, be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Heather Nichols and Ashley Cannon Newell for peeks.  Also Dawn McVey, Melissa Bickford & Lexi Daly have peeks to share with you of their newest sets for the month.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  8. Fab cards! Like the banner set. Things I like about coordinating dies are that first, the dimension they can bring a design, second, they serve as a quick, easy mask, and third, the image can be stamped and you can design partly on it and/or around it because your final die-cut will cover it up. Die-cuts are terrific design tools. THANKS for another creative set! :)
