Quilled Elegance and Ribbons & Bows Day Two

Hey there! Thanks for joining me for day two of the Papertrey Ink December countdown. I'm back today to bring you more of my new sets... Quilled Elegance and Ribbons & Bows.  And from the looks of it, it sounds as if some of you are as excited about these set as I am!

Now onto today's creations...
First up, Quilled Elegance.  My focus for this card is the quilled sentiment frame, which I stamped in black onto a rustic white card base.  Then filled the center with a sentiment, also from Quilled Elegance
Also included in the set are a number of different sized solid filler images.  Each one is sized slightly off from the quilled images and they add a nice modern touch of color to any of the images.  This time I filled the sentiment border with neon pink and gold inks (a new fave of mine, you'll be seeing it a lot in the upcoming days).
Second, Ribbon & Bows.  This time around I chose to turn one of these ribbon bows into a present topper, by first stamping it onto rustic white cardstock in Archival Viridian ink.
The present box was cut from limeade ice cardstock, stamped with a sentiment from the Over Under Easy stamp set and attached over a true black cardstock strip using dimensional adhesive.  Here's How: Using my scissors, I slightly rounded the corners to create a subtle effect.  Then finished the card off with a true black button and twine.

Well, that concludes my second look at both Quilled Elegance and Ribbon & Bows. Just remember... these stamp sets will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning December 15th. In the mean time, I'd love to know what you think so far, so please feel free to share!

Now, be sure to visit Nichole Heady, Heather Nichols and Ashley Cannon Newell for peeks at Framed Out #11, Sending My LoveMan & Wife dies and Just a Kiss.  Also, Lizzie Jones, Lexi Daly and Melissa Bickford have peeks to share with you of their newest sets for the month.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Maile
