Hello my friends! The Design Team and I have another Papertrey Ink group post to share with you today. This time around we bring you... Stitches & Swirls, a new set designed by Nichole that's sure to get a ton of use.
For today, I've created a duo of cards perfect for brightening a special persons day...
For this first card I chose to work with a color combo of Harvest Gold, Sweet Blush & Gray.
Started by stamping a Rustic White cardstock block with swirls in Sweet Blush and Summer Sunrise. Stamped a Think Big Favorites #10 sentiment in Smoky Shadow and then wrapped the panel with white silk ribbon. Then onto a separate Rustic White card base I attached two coordinating cardstock strips in Harvest Gold and Sweet Blush.
Once done with the first card, I couldn't stop there. This layout is perfect for quickly recreating in an assortment of different color combos. For this second card I chose to work with a color combo of Lavender Moon, Kraft and Dark Chocolate.Stamped the swirls in Lavender Moon and Vintage Touch Chai and the sentiment in Dark Chocolate.
I hope you've enjoyed today's sneak peek... Now, here are the links to the other Design Team members, you will not want to miss their wonderful creations!

I really love your designs, but I noticed that you keep calling the Vintage Touch ink "Chia," like the pet, when it's really "Chai," like the tea. Just thought you'd like to know. Keep on stampin'!
ReplyDeleteso very pretty - I never would have thought to ombre the stamp - it is so very effective.
ReplyDeleteHow clever to layer over two colors of card stock. Looks like neopolitan ice cream! Love it!
