2S4Y - Sponsored by Wplus9

Hello my friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! This week, Wplus9 is sponsoring the latest 2 Sketch 4 You challenge. Check out the great sketch...As per my usual style, I changed things up a bit. Here is my take...
The little wooden train is from Kisses & Cuddles. I stamped it multiple time onto kraft cardstock, colored with Copics, cut out and assembled. Added a few extra box cars by simply stamping, coloring and cutting out. Got the adorable train car idea from my good friend Kim Wilson's card here.
Finished the card off with True Black satin ribbon and a gorgeous sentiment (from Kisses & Cuddles) nestled next to the bow.

Be sure to stop by and see what the 2 Sketch 4 You design team has created using this fun sketch along with some Wplus9 stamps.

Thanks for visiting. Hope you have a great start to your week!

  3. So fabulous, Maile! I love that this would be a perfect baby boy card without using the traditional blue and green, and that black ribbon is so perfect!

  6. Man, you make me love that little train! Never thought to add more little cars to it, until you and Kim pointed it out. Love you guys!

Great choice on the kraft and then coloring certain areas. It gives it such a realistic feel, I totally see it as a little wooden train.

    Beautiful job!
