Papertrey Ink September Release Projects

The Papertrey Ink September countdown is about to come to an end and I'm here to share my final projects with you today. But, before I do, let me remind you that everything you've seen peeks of will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink beginning 10 pm EST tonight.

Now, let me get right to it!...
Let me begin with the non-Christmas card using Keep It Simple: Surgery by Nichole Heady and Tucked In: Get Well by Dawn McVey.
I combined both with the So Striking stamp set and dies.  Silly me, I forgot to capture a shot of the inside of the card.  Inside is the same sun image paired with a sentiment from the Tucked In: Get Well stamp set.  Sorry.
And now back to Christmas...
Enclosed: Bell by Dawn McVey.
Paired with a pattern paper sheet from Treetops Glisten paper pad.
Deck the Halls by Dawn McVey.
This too was paired with a pattern paper sheet from Treetops Glisten paper pad.
And I've got one last Treetops Glisten stamp set sample for you.
A bright and bold combo, proving just how versatile this stamp set truly is.

Well, that about covers it.  Be sure to check out the rest of the design teams fabulous projects as well...
Thanks for stopping by!

Nativity Inspiration + Treetops Glisten

Hello and welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink September countdown! Today's nativity themed products are truly beautiful!  Perfect for Christmas projects of all kinds. I hope after this design team challenge that you are inspired to create your own heartfelt crafts this holiday season.
To start things off I've pulled together the Petite Places: Nativity stamps plus die and the Scene It: Bethlehem die to create a 3D globe tag.
I built the nativity scene on top of a base that was cut from gold luxe cardstock using the Scene It: Scalloped Tag Base die.
The Petite Places: Nativity stamp set was used once again for this little tag.
I turned this Ribbon Slider die cut into a traditional tag (like I did in yesterday's blog post) and stamped it in a color combo of kraft, scarlet jewel and true black.
For this one layer card I pulled out the Petite Places: Nativity and O Holy Night stamp sets.
On top of this kraft striped pattern paper sheet (from the Treetops Glisten paper pad) I stamped all of the images in true black.  It's super simple but still makes a bold statement.
Here's a second super simple card. It too was created using a sheet from the Treetops Glisten paper pad.
This time I touched up the treetops with a touch of glitter and fished the card off with a die cut sentiment.

Well, that concludes today's look at  the nativity themed products. Just remember... all that you have seen today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning September 15th.  More details on these products can be found at the Papertrey Ink blog.

Quick + Easy Holiday Wraps + Treetops Glisten

Hello and welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink September countdown!
Have we got a treat for you today!  Holiday wrap inspiration galore.  There's some great new goodies this release that's sure to be on the top of your wishlist. Product that's gonna make your life easier come this holiday season. Here's a few easy to assemble projects I've create for you using today's featured items...
First up, the tags.  These tags were created using the Minute to Make: Holiday Tags 2 stamps.
There are two separate sets, each offering a slightly different style. The goal is to allow you to easily be able to create multi-color tags with just a few stamp impressions. It all starts with a basic tag filler. Then there are companion stamps to help you fill in the blank spot.  More info can be found on Nichole Heady's blog
I've used the base tag image with the tag 2 coordinating images included in this particular set.
I've die cut the tags from shimmer white cardstock and stamped each in a color combo of ocean tides, new leaf, limeade ice and true black.
Here's a little Ribbon Slider Sentiments stamps and coordinating die set for you.
I've turned the ribbon sliders into actual tags, using the same color combo as above.  In fact everything created for today uses the same color theme.
I simply stamped, placed a bit of twine, and tied both together at the top with a ribbon knot.
This final trio uses the new Christmas Tree Change UpIn the Bag stamps and dies, and Treetops Glisten stamps.
This Christmas Tree Change Up treat box was a cinch to create.  Simple and cute!
These cards were created using In the Bag and Treetops Glisten
The In the Bag collection allows you to create and embellish a pocket to be placed on the front of a card.
The die was cut from white cardstock, stamped with triangles from Treetops Glisten (treetops stamped multiple times, stacked one on top of the other) and an In the Bag sentiment.  Mounted on top of a strip of Treetops Glisten pattern paper.
This one layer card was stamped in the same fashion as above.
Then finished off with a stamped Christmas Cheer sentiment.

Well, that concludes today's look at the new Quick + Easy Holiday Wraps product. Just remember... all that you have seen today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning September 15th.  More details on these products can be found at the Papertrey Ink blog.

Introducing Make It Market Mini Kit: Holiday Folk + Treetops Glisten

Hello and welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink September countdown!
I'm having a hard time believing it's really that time of year!  Time to plan out those Christmas cards already.  I'm ready though.  Christmas cards are some of my faves to make.  Today I've got a simple design idea that will have you cranking out those cards in no time!
The layout is basic, it features a panel die cut either from pattern paper or card stock.  Here I've used the Sentiment Splits: Angle Vertical die to cut a panel from a sheet of the Make It Marker Mini Kit: Holiday Folk pattern paper pad.
I simply attached the panel to the card base with dimensional adhesive, stamped the sentiment along the bottom angled edge, wrapped with twine and embellished with wooden stars from the Make It Marker Mini Kit: Holiday Folk.  Once the stars were glued in place I touched them up with my Wink of Stella brush pen in gold.
This card is a bit more involved, stamping wise. The layout is basically the same as above but done with the use of the Sentiment Splits: Angle Horizontal die.
The panel was die cut from white cardstock and then stamped with the tree image from the Make It Marker Mini Kit: Holiday Folk stamp set.  I used a color combo of new leaf, ocean tides and pinefeather.  I couldn't help but trim apart that stacked sentiment, it's such a fun look!
I've got another card duo for you, using the same basic card pattern as above.  This time using pattern paper and stamps from the Treetops Glisten collection.
This triangle tree pattern is so versatile!  You can add your own stamped "colored" trees to the black trunks on the white/kraft triangle paper!  Allowing you to personalize and coordinate to your hearts desire.
Here I've stamped the ornament dots in raspberry fizz and gold over the trunks. For a little more pop of color I wrapped the card with green embroidery floss.
This pattern paper comes in both a horizontal and vertical orientation.
Stamp on the trunks or not, like I've done on this last card.  I just switched it up for you here.  So many options in both the pattern paper and today's basic card pattern.

Well, that concludes today's look at Make It Market Mini Kit: Holiday Folk and the Treetops Glisten collection. Just remember... all that you have seen today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning September 15th.  More details on these products can be found at the Papertrey Ink blog.

Treetops Glisten

Hi there! Welcome to day two of the September Papertrey Ink countdown.
I am so excited about today feature!  Today I bring you a couple more peaks at the next designs in my Stamping Simply line up.  Let me reintroduce you to the Treetops Glisten Collection! This coordinating line up consists of...
  • Treetops Glisten stamp set
  • Treetops Glisten die
  • Treetops Glisten paper collection
Check it out...
This card takes focus on the stamps.  Treetops Glisten is a set that's sure to get you inspired to try out dozens of combinations!  Included is...

  • 15 treetop options
  • 6 tree accent images
  • 3 sentiments
I've used 4 different treetop images, one accent image (the dots), and obviously one sentiment to make this first card.

I took my cue from the coordinating pattern paper collection and chose a color combo of pinefeather, ocean tides, and black to stamp with.  The kraft striped pattern paper edge is from the Treetops Glisten pattern paper pad.  More on that below...
The pattern papers... I am in love with!  They feature a rustic color combo of pinefeather, ocean tides, kraft, and black.  Yet they are designed with modern touches and images for a bit of contrast.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.  Both horizontal and vertical pages are included.  This one's a design for a horizontal layout.  Possibly one of my faves from the paper pad!
I used the new String Frames dies to add a black embroidery frame and a few wooden stars (more on them to come later in the release) painted with my Wink of Stella brush pen in gold.  And that is all I added to this one piece of pattern paper. Easy peasy!

Well, that concludes today's look at the Treetops Glisten Collection. Just remember... all that you have seen today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning September 15th. Stay tuned, I'll be bringing you many more peeks of my new line up as the PTI countdown continues.

String Frames dies + Treetops Glisten

Hi there! Welcome to day one of the September Papertrey Ink countdown.

So glad you could join me!  Today I bring you a look at the new String Frames dies, by Erin Lincoln.  In typical Erin style she has found a way to add string, twine or embroidery floss to any project with ease.  The dies are unique!  I hope I do them justice today by showcasing them in an unexpected way.

Also, I'll be featuring my newest collection of Stamping Simply goodies for the month... Treetops Glisten stamps, pattern paper, and dies.
 A holiday themed trio.
From one of the pattern paper sheets included in the Treetops Glisten pattern paper pad, I die cut the largest of the String Frames dies and threaded cream and gold twine through.  I fed the ends out onto the front side so that I could tie them together in a pretty bow.
I touched up the pattern paper with a bit of shine using a Wink of Stella brush pen in gold.
I do love how the red embroidery floss pops off of the black and grey Treetops Glisten pattern paper on this card.  This touch was added using the smallest of the String Frames dies.
I touched up the card front with little gold ink ornament dots, using a stamp sized perfectly for most of the trees in the Treetops Glisten stamp set and pattern papers.  Typically you would thread the twine so that it would criss cross in the corner, but again... I'm going for a different take.
To me this card looks a little like a throw back to the 50's.
I used the medium sized String Frames die (the bottom portion only) and threaded a backdrop for the Treetops Glisten scene.

Well, that concludes today's look at String Frames dies. Just remember... all that you have seen today will be available for purchase through Papertrey Ink, beginning September 15th

Now, be sure to visit Papertrey Ink blog and Erin Lincoln for more details on today's featured new product.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
